Ryo Nakagawa 中川 諒

1988年生まれ。幼少期をエジプトとドイツで過ごす。慶應義塾大学環境情報学部を卒業後、2011年に電通に入社するも希望のクリエイティブ局には配属されず、自主制作をはじめる。その後ヤングライオンズ、ヤングスパイクスの日本代表に選出。TCC(東京コピーライターズクラブ)新人賞を受賞し、社内の転局試験に合格。入社8年目にして営業から念願のクリエイティブ局に異動。Googleにクリエイティブディレクターとして出向し、シンガポールとオーストラリア・シドニーで勤務。2023年にdroga5Tokyoに所属。これまでの主なクライアントにInstagram、Google、NIKE、Coca-Cola、UNIQLO、SUNTORY、TRUNK、Spiberなど。著書に『発想の回路』(ダイヤモンド社)『いくつになっても恥をかける人になる』(ディスカヴァー21)、連載に『赤恥研究所』(BRUTUS/マガジンハウス)がある。「恥研究家」としても活動し、企業や教育機関での講演やワークショップを行う。
Ryo's rich multicultural upbringing spans Egypt, Germany, the US, and Japan, giving him a unique perspective that fuels his creative work. As a student, he honed his skills as a creative intern at Red Bull and Wieden + Kennedy while simultaneously working as a weekly photographer for a club. His professional journey took off at Dentsu, Japan's largest advertising agency, where he spent 12 years crafting compelling campaigns. He excelled in directing both Japanese campaigns for global brands and global campaigns for Japanese companies. His expertise led him to Google, where he served as a creative director in Sydney and Singapore before bringing his talents to Droga5 Tokyo.Ryo's impressive client roster includes industry giants like Instagram(Meta),Google, Nike, Coca-Cola, GAP, Uniqlo, Honda, Panasonic, and Suntory, showcasing his versatility and creativity across various sectors. His international accolades started from Young Cannes Lions & Young Spikes, include those at NYC ADC, One Show, Adfest, Spikes, & Adstars. A prolific writer, Ryo has authored "Circuit of Ideas" and "Become a Person of Shame at Any Age," both published in Japan and Korea. His social media presence boasts a combined following of over 90,000 reflecting his influence and reach.
